A feast for film fans

The Bermuda International Film Festival (BIFF) returns this month. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, March 10 at 10 a.m. BIFF runs from March 19-25. See www.biff.bm for more information.

Whale watch

Andrew Stevenson’s film Where the Whales Sing will premiere at the BUEI on Thursday, March 11 at 8.30 p.m. The film grew out of Stevenson’s Humpback Whale Film and Research Project. See www.whalesbermuda.com for more information

Writer Gilkes to give public reading

Guyanese playwright, poet and director Dr. Michael Gilkes will be giving a public reading at the Bermuda National Gallery at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 20. Call Folklife Officer Dr. Kim Dismont Robinson on 292-9447 for more information. 

Calling all poets
